The famed producer/DJ, whose real name is Nick Miller, has struggled heavily with the impact of drug abuse. Last year's "Feel Good" reminded listeners that we all need to rely on each other during personal crises. But fans also know that ILLENIUM is totally candid about his problems, too. "Take You Down" was inspired by a desperate moment in his life. Miller, who has lived through an OD scare, had been kicked out of rehab, and felt he had nowhere left to go before his mom's love steered him straight. He discusses the ups and downs of his plight in our "3 Thoughts…Addiction," powered by truth, Ad Council and the Office of National Drug Control Policy. "Every [new] song is part of a healing process," says ILLENIUM, "and what helped me stay on the right path was a close community of friends."
